At the Capoeira Ache Brasil Academy on East Broadway near Kingsway, the first lesson is free so clients can decide whether or not they like the sport. Capoeira is the only martial art done to music and combines dance, acrobatic moves and fighting techniques. Christianne Odehnal, manager of Ache Brasil, said students like the sport because it is a good workout as well as being fun and educational. "They have so much fun that they dont even realize that they are learning," she said.
