In addition to installing a new editorial system, The Journal now uses SCS/Track to control and monitor ad production workflow. With a daily circulation of 85,521 and a Sunday circulation of 95,214, The Journal has been a publication of the communications corporation Media General since 1969. The Journal has approximately 10 ad builders, among others who contribute to ad creation, with a total of approximately 20-25 people producing ads. Developed and distributed by Software Consulting Services, LLC (SCS), SCS/Track offers completely electronic workflow and enables all advertising and production staff to monitor the status of any ad and its components at any given moment.
